DAY 10: Feedback Is a Leadership Tool

Silence creates confusion – not safety.

Feedback is one of the most underused execution tools in leadership.

Without it:

  • mistakes repeat
  • assumptions harden
  • alignment drifts

Leaders often delay feedback to avoid discomfort, but delay costs far more than directness ever does.

What I Learned the Hard Way

I used to think delayed feedback was considerate.

It’s not.

Clear, timely feedback respects people’s time and effort. It allows course correction while it still matters.

Avoidance just prolongs inefficiency.

What I Executed on This Morning

I delivered feedback I had been sitting on.

It wasn’t emotional.
It wasn’t harsh.

It was clear – and it worked.

Why Feedback Matters

If you execute one thing tomorrow morning, give direct feedback.

Say what’s working. Say what isn’t. Say it early.

If this sounds familiar, the Operator Sprint is where we install it.
